Classic Tiramisu ☕🍰


A creamy Italian dessert with coffee-soaked ladyfingers and mascarpone.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee (cooled)
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 3 egg yolks
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 20 ladyfinger biscuits
  • Cocoa powder (for dusting)

Instructions:

  1. Whisk egg yolks and sugar over a double boiler until thick and pale. Let cool.
  2. Mix in mascarpone cheese until smooth.
  3. Whip heavy cream with vanilla until stiff peaks form, then fold into the mascarpone mixture.
  4. Dip ladyfingers in coffee and layer them in a dish.
  5. Spread mascarpone mixture on top. Repeat layers.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight. Dust with cocoa powder before serving.
