Caesar Salad


Caesar Salad is a classic, crisp, and flavorful dish made with romaine lettuce, crunchy croutons, and freshly grated Parmesan cheese, all tossed in a rich, tangy dressing. Perfect as a side or a light main course, this salad is a timeless favorite! 🥗✨

Ingredients:

For the Salad:

  • 1 large head of Romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cup croutons
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated

For the Dressing:

  • ½ cup mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt for a lighter version)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 anchovy fillets, finely chopped (optional but authentic)
  • 1½ tbsp lemon juice

  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Make the Dressing:

    • In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, minced garlic, anchovies, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce.
    • Slowly drizzle in olive oil while whisking until smooth.
    • Season with salt and black pepper. Set aside.
  2. Prepare the Salad:

    • In a large bowl, toss the chopped romaine lettuce with croutons and Parmesan cheese.
  3. Combine & Serve:

    • Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss well.
    • Garnish with extra Parmesan and serve immediately.
