🍔 Crispy Nacho Chicken Burgers

Crispy nacho-coated chicken, soft homemade chili buns, and bold spicy flavor — must-try for Iftar and spicy food lovers 🔥🤤

Perfect for Ramadan 2025, family meals, or weekend cravings!


🥖 DOUGH

• 250 ml milk (lukewarm)

• 7 g instant yeast (1 tbsp)

• 30 g hot chili sauce

• 1 medium egg

• 475 g all-purpose flour

• 8 g salt (1⅓ tsp)

• 40 g nacho chips, finely ground

• 30 g unsalted butter


🍗 CHICKEN MIXTURE

• 400 g chicken thighs, cut into pieces

• 3 g salt (½ tsp)

• 3 g cayenne pepper (1 tsp)

• 4 g onion powder (1⅓ tsp)

• 2 g black pepper (⅔ tsp)

• 25 g hot chili sauce


🌾 FLOUR MIX

• 75 g all-purpose flour

• 1 g salt (⅙ tsp)

• 2 g black pepper (⅔ tsp)

• 3 g onion powder (1 tsp)


🧂 COATING

• 2 medium eggs, beaten

• 160 g nacho chips, finely ground


🥚 EXTRA

• 1 egg (for brushing buns)


👩‍🍳 METHOD

1️⃣ Finely grind 200 g nacho chips. Set aside 40 g for the dough.

2️⃣ Mix lukewarm milk, yeast, and chili sauce. Rest for 5 minutes.

3️⃣ Add egg, flour, salt, ground nachos, and butter. Knead for 10–12 minutes. Let rise for 1 hour.

4️⃣ Marinate chicken with spices and chili sauce.

5️⃣ Prepare three bowls: flour mix, beaten eggs, and ground nachos.

6️⃣ Coat chicken: flour → egg → nachos.

7️⃣ Divide dough into 12 pieces. Roll into 13 cm circles.

8️⃣ Fold, brush with egg, dip in nachos, and rest for 30 minutes.

9️⃣ Fry buns at 175°C until golden.

🔟 Bake chicken at 175°C for 25–30 minutes.

🔥 Assemble burgers with sauce, lettuce, and crispy chicken. Serve hot 🍔
